Batman

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Originally created by the Weekly World News as a stunt to boost circulation, Batman became the paper's pointy-toothed mascot and the confidante of columinst Ed Anger. Following the incorrect report that Batman was actually spending his spare time fighting crime in New York City, as opposed to stalking Chelsea Clinton as the Weekly World News had reported, Anger said he was "more ticked than Ben Edlund on deadline" at the insinuations that the half-boy-half-bat freak was a productive member of society.

Batman amusingly proved Anger wrong by periodically venturing into the Middle East to sabotage Saddam Hussein's machinery of despotism. He is currently splitting his time between starring in the Off-Broadway musical adaptation of his life and hunting down Osama Bin Laden with his stable of boy wards: Dick Grayson, Jason Todd and Tim Drake.
