Attack of The Show
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Attack of The Show, or AOTS as it prefers to be called, is a computer algorithm developed at the Comcast laboratories for use at its cable television channel, G4. Created from bits of pop culture, random trivia and lots of alcohol, AOTS is designed to find uncool things (such as old Tech TV programming), attack them and render them unairable. The initial test run of AOTS was extremely successful, as most Tech TV programming was destroyed or rendered unwatchable by early 2006.
In recent months, AOTS has run out of viable targets and has started to attack itself. The result has been multiple host changes, format shake-ups and general behind-the-scenes mayhem. The long-term stability of AOTS remains in doubt at this point, but for now Comcast and G4 intend to continue using it to eradicate all that is unmanly on the network.
