Al Roker
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Al Roker is an alien, sent as an advance scout for an invading armada. However, his brethren are long overdue, so Roker passes his time on various television programs, including numerous shows on the Food Network; doing voice work for The Proud Family and Cyberchase; and as the weatherman for NBC's The Today Show. All the while, Roker is taking notes on the weaknesses of the human race...
As an alien, Roker possess many special abilities. Unfortunately, one of those abilities is not predicting the weather. That would seem to preclude him from being an effective weatherman; but Roker does possess the ability to instantly recall any person's birthday, which on The Today Show is a much more important skill.
Roker was the subject of the Ricky Martin #1 hit song "Livin' To Feed Al Roker" in 1999, which they still have not stopped playing on the radio.
In 2002, Roker died in a freak elevator mishap while participating in his annual elevator race with David Letterman. Roker then had to use one of his ten regenerations, and came back as a 1/3 lighter Al Roker. It is not know how many regenerations Roker has remaining.
