30 Rock, which began airing in 2006 on NBC, is a remake of Cop Rock, the greatest musical cop show ever. Borrowing from the high-concept season-long arcs of shows like 24 and 30 Days, it stars Tina Fey and Adam Baldwin as detectives who each season investigate a series of 30 brutal drug-related murders at the New York School for the Performing Arts.
