20 Good Years

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

20 Good Years is a children's television show that originally aired on Cartoon Network but was bought by NBC to air in prime time. The show stars John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor as two bright young teenagers (named "John" and "Jack") living in a typical suburb of Los Angeles. Realizing that life is short and they only have about 20 years before life's responsibilities turn them into CBS viewers, the two decide to spend each day in pursuit of money, drugs, hot women, extreme thrills and all of Earth's other pleasures. Jake Sandvig and Heather Locklear co-star as John and Jack's strict parents, whose job is to remove all fun things from their sons' lives.

SPOILER ALERT

Seeing as how 20 Good Years is airing in primetime on NBC and not on HBO or Cinemax, you can guess that the boys' quest for fun isn't gonna work out too well. Expect several Very Special Episodes during Sweeps...
